Production Capabilities
PRIMECH specializes in the manufacture of precision components, with approximately 70% of production focused on milling and 30% on turning. In addition to small and medium-sized parts, the company also manufactures larger steel components, complex machined parts and pre-assembled units.
Technologies
PRIMECH offers a broad range of machining and finishing technologies, including:
5-axis milling, 3D contour milling, mill-turn machining, HSC milling, engraving milling, automatic bar turning, complete turning operations with milling, deep-hole drilling, ultrasonic drilling, sawing, drilling and thread machining, grinding, MIG/MAG/TIG welding, manual arc welding, anodizing, hard anodizing, overlay welding, pickling, black oxide coating, chromating, CVD coating, electropolishing and electrophoretic dip coating.
The company operates 12 CNC machining centres. The largest machine has a table size of 1,600 × 850 mm and allows rotary machining of components up to 400 mm in diameter. The largest 5-axis rotary table has a diameter of 610 mm. PRIMECH's latest Hurco VCX600i 5-axis machining centre is equipped with a 600 mm rotary table.
Precision Measurement and Quality Assurance
PRIMECH places a strong emphasis on consistent quality and reliable process control.
The company is equipped with calibrated measuring technology for dimensional inspection as well as for measuring surface roughness and coating thickness. A ZEISS CONTURA coordinate measuring machine (CMM) enables precise in-house inspection of larger components.
A wide range of calibrated measuring instruments, gauges and surface inspection devices is also available. All calibrated equipment is documented accordingly, while the CMM is installed in a dedicated, climate-controlled measuring room.
This comprehensive measuring capability enables PRIMECH to meet high precision and quality requirements.
