The company was founded in 1863 in Mannheim, Germany, as a brickyard and succeeded in developing its first pathbreaking innovation, chemical stoneware, in 1888. Numerous new developments followed. Among other things, the company started in the mid of the past century processing plastics and combined modern and traditional materials when producing chemical devices and facilities.
The following years were characterised by the expansion in the core business and the opening up of more and more new business segments. 1. Ceramic Engineering Plant composed of: Laboratory of Testing Raw and Ceramic Materials as well as Solid Oxide Fuel Cells Material Laboratory.
2. Prototype Department including Mechanical Workshop and Technological–Constructional Workroom.
Our goal is to gain domestic and foreign trade partners, who are interested in applying ceramic high wear resistant parts in their machines and equipment.
We have innovative technical potential and highly qualified staff, which allows us to develop and carry out professional scientific research at a scope of implementation, manufacturing, application and sales.

查看更多 In 1904 Armand Marseille from St. Petersburg founded the company manufacturing porcelain heads for dolls. Several years later production shifted to technical ceramics.
In 1913 the company was sold to Siemens - Schuckert AG in Berlin Siemensstadt.
Due to the ever increasing requirement for electricity in the 1920s the demand for technical porcelain for insulation and isolation applications rose significantly.
The introduction of new materials, like Steatite, and the expansion of capacity ensured the manufacture of more complex products. The plant in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz specialized in Steatite in 1958. Between 1965 and 1969 it was merged with the plants in Sonneberg and intergrated with the Kombinat Keramische Werke Hermsdorf.
The company was taken over by a trusteeship in 1989 and restructured into the stock company Tridelta AG. In 1993 the electro-ceramic production was outsourced and WWS Keramik Neuhaus GmbH was founded by means of a Management-Buy-Out.
