Zhuzhou
Cemented Carbide Cutting Tools Co., Ltd. (ZCC-CT) is located in
Zhuzhou, Hunan province, China and is part of the 'ZCC Group' and also
the 'Minmetals Group'.
Since
its foundation in 1953, ZCC-CT has developed rapidly by progressively
using highly advanced modern production technology as well as having a
highly qualified and committed workforce. ZCC-CT is now the largest
producer of carbide cutting tools in China and one of the leading
carbide manufacturers worldwide. The 'ZCC Group' now has more than 6000
employees and belongs to the 'Minmetal Group' who are the 10th largest
business in the whole of China and employs in excess of 168,000
worldwide.
Using this advanced
production technology, ZCC-CT products are manufactured to the highest
quality standards to maintain a constant quality and high performance.
The wide range of products contain indexable carbide inserts (coated and
uncoated), inserts of Cermets, CBN, PCD and ceramics, solid carbide
tools as well as tool holders and milling bodies. Furthermore, precision
tools for micro cutting and the medical industries are now being
offered. Extensive R&D facilities are used to develop and introduce
constantly improving cutting tool products to meet the demands of modern

Research

The
production and administration facilities in China are certified to ISO
9001:2000 and they maintain strict environmental management to ISO
14001:2004 standards.
The main
ZCC-CT production and the domestic and Far East sales facilities are
based in Zhuzhou, China. The ZCC-CT Europe headquarters, based in
Düsseldorf Germany, was opened in 2003 to service and support the Europe
and Scandinavian markets and the North American market is serviced by
ZCC-CT USA from their facilities based in Detroit.
