DIN 69002 short spindles are mainly used in single- or multi-spindle machining units. Short spindle heads are suitable for standardised and commercially non-standardised tools, preferably with planar abutment.
Short spindles are suitable for the use of high performance tools without using tool guides, in particular for accurate jobs. Short spindles made by HELLMERICH meet all requirements listed in the standards specification sheet in terms of precision and mechanical values.
The excellent quality required for high-tech applications is guaranteed through extensive tests and inspections as part of the quality assurance. As extremely high performances are required from short spindles during production, we recommend to replace the complete spinde in case of the service of a MSH. Customers having the necessary facilities and resources may replace complete short spindles available on our stock by themself.
