We are specialist for customer-specific drive technologies. As a financially independent family business, we work with a wide variety of industries. With over 300 employees at two locations, we produce various types of electric motors, gearmotors and electronic assemblies.
Our products are known for reliability and quality. With a strong and experienced development team, we design tailored drives and systems to customer specification. Through a sustainable project management and a high degree of manufacturing depth, the customer has one partner from the design up to series production. More than 70 years of experience in drive technology: The history of the company Heidrive GmbH can be traced back to the year 1720. From a blacksmiths shop in Schwabach a metal products factory was built in 1938, which expanded worldwide. After the first electric motors were developed and produced in 1951, in 1961 the current headquarter, the plant in Kelheim was opened. In 1968 another division in Kelheim, specialized in system units and 1995, the subsidiary Heidrive s.r.o. in Mrakov, Czech Republic were established. Since January 2015 the division system technology is now represented under the own corporate name Pasotec GmbH and has taken over an important place in the company structure as subsidiary of Heidrive GmbH.
Since January 2016, the company Heidrive GmbH is part of the U.S. American drive technology manufacturer Allied Motion Technologies Inc.
