Our head office is located in Tallinn, Estonia, with branch offices in the Baltic countries and Malta. Our production facilities are located in China and India.
We have many various customers, including companies in the automotive and consumer electronics manufacturing industries, agricultural machinery manufacturers, large producers of modern equipment for outdoor advertising, and manufacturers of LED lighting systems for airports and large industrial facilities. Our company Our company processes nonferrous alloys such as sandcasting, centrifugal casting and horizontal continuous cast rods and hollows acc. different standards. Today, the SM Sächsisches Metallwerk Freiberg GmbH is one of the leading companies in the field of nonferrous metal foundry, due to many years of experience, expertise, and increased production depth.
Our company Our company processes nonferrous alloys such as sandcasting, centrifugal casting and horizontal continuous cast rods and hollows acc. different standards. Today, the SM Sächsisches Metallwerk Freiberg GmbH is one of the leading companies in the field of nonferrous metal foundry, due to many years of experience, expertise, and increased production depth. The performance offering:
· Continuous casting up to OD 162mm
· Centrifugal casting up to OD 660mm
· Sand casting
· Machining pre-turning, finish-machining
Metall purchasing
Recycling of raw material ist the concept of SM.
We procure:
· Ingots
· Srap (sorted an unsorted)
· Swarfs
· Production-remnants
· Granules
Materials:
· Gunmetal, tin bronze
· Lead bronze
· Aluminium multi-alloy bronzes
· Special brass
· Special-purpose alloys. Quality:
Our production is subject to permanent control in order to assure the high quality standards of our continuous casting products. Apart from an analytical control of the cast materials by means of a Spectrolab, the mechanical characteristics of the casting alloys are also verified and statistically evaluated. If requested, each delivery can come with an analysis or acceptance certificate.
The further improvement of our product quality is achieved by a continual refinement of the production processes and investments in new equipment.
Our company is certified according to the norm DIN EN ISO 9001.

The company has established regulations and guidelines to protect the environment. Extensive investments in the field of energy management and pollution control create the preconditions for the observation of emission limits now and for the future.
