World-known OEMs count on LEJ as their system provider for e.g. laser and system power supplies, LED high performance controller as well as their partner for contract assembly of complex opto-mechanical and opto-electronical sub-assemblies and systems.
With LUXYR and AMPYR LEJ markets two proprietary-developed lines of standard products, utilized specifically in microscopy applications. Especially in demanding Fluorescence, but also in routine Transmitted and Reflected Light microscopy applications the Xenon, Mercury and (multi-channel) LED light sources are employed worldwide.
The entire range of brand products can be customized according to customers and applications. By providing a modular design as well as an intelligent roadmap-based development platform, LEJ allows such customization to be conducted in a very short time (time-to-market) and at reasonable costs.

Leistungselektronik JENA GmbH (LEJ) was founded as a spin-off creation of the research center of Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH in December 1991. Die Philips Medical Systems DMC gehört zur Sparte Healthcare des Elektronikkonzerns Philips. Ihr Geschäft ist die bildgebende Diagnostik & Therapie, klinische IT und Dienstleistungen. Die Fabrik in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel gilt als eine der modernsten Produktionsstätten der Welt und ist ein Aushängeschild erster Güte am Medizintechnik-Standort Hamburg. Der Bereich „Retouren & Recycling" wurde bei Philips Medical Systems DMC im Jahr 1999 gegründet. Seitdem ist die Summe der aufgearbeiteten und wiederverwendeten Materialien eines Röntgenstrahlers stetig angestiegen und beträgt heute bis zu 70 %. Die Produktkomponenten der Röntgenstrahler werden aufbereitet und der Strahlerfertigung wieder zugeführt. Sie ersetzen damit Neuteile, die energieintensiv und aus hochwertigen Materialien hergestellt werden müssten. Um den steigenden Recyclingbedarf von Röntgenstrahlern begegnen zu können, wurde der Bereich „Retouren & Recycling" erweitert. Hierfür wurde eine bestehende Produktionshalle aufgestockt und zusätzliche Anlagen für das Recycling beschafft. Damit ist Philips Medical Systems DMC auch zukünftig in der Lage, die aus hochwertigen Materialien bestehenden Teile eines Röntgenstrahlers wiederzugewinnen, aufzubereiten und der Produktion neuer Strahler zuzuführen.

Gegenstand des Unternehmens ist der Vertrieb und die Vermittlung technischer Produkte, Verbrauchsmaterialien und Geräte und die Vornahme aller hiermit in Zusammenhang stehender Geschäfte und Serviceleistungen.
