查看更多 In Wolnzach, einem kleinen Ort in der durch Hopfenanbau geprägten Hallertau, etwa 60 Km nördlich von München entstand 1974 die Firma A.S.T. Angewandte System Technik mit zunächst 3 Mitarbeitern. Ihr Ziel war die Entwicklung und Herstellung von energiesparenden Vorheiz- und Vorkühlanlagen für Bahnfahrzeuge mit der damals neuen Mikroprozessor- Technologie.
Dieser damals sehr fortschrittliche Ansatz war von Erfolg gekrönt, inzwischen ist die A.S.T. auf diesem Gebiet Marktführer.
Bereits 1994 wude das Haus A.S.T. nach DIN ISO 9001 zertifiziert und die A.S.T. ist seit vielen Jahren Q1 Lieferant der Deutschen Bahn.
Die Firmenphilosophie, kundenspezifische Systeme und Komplettlösungen aus einer Hand anzubieten forderte und förderte die Entwicklung einer Vielzahl unterschiedlichster Geräte. Dies mündete in den Aufbau neuer Firmenstandorte in Berlin und Dresden.
Dieser damals sehr fortschrittliche Ansatz war von Erfolg gekrönt, inzwischen ist die A.S.T. auf diesem Gebiet Marktführer.
