Track construction was already a mainstay of our company in the 1930s. In the 1950s, the first Matisa track tamping machines were used. At the beginning of the 1960s, the first turnout tamping machines from Plasser & Theurer.

When rod metering systems come into operation in paper industry, the name Horst Sprenger is often mentioned. In the past years and decades our metering rods and rod beds have set standards in quality, durability and reliability. Currently, improved surfaces further reduce material wear and thus allow a higher overall quality.
