Caterpillar Inc. owns a complex portfolio of brands whose roles and relationships support the growth to achieve our enterprise goals. The Caterpillar brand is used in communication to represent our corporation with the investment community, employees, public policy makers, and other key stakeholders. The Caterpillar brand is the umbrella that shelters all other brands in the portfolio.

PERI was founded in 1969 by Artur Schwörer. The company’s name is taken from the Greek preposition “peri” (English: around). Forty years later, the family-managed company is one of the top 50 companies in federal state Bavaria. Over the last few years, it has achieved above-average growth in new staff and turnover.
