The company Kurt Maier Motor-Press GmbH was established in 1979. Our expanding company has production centres in Germany and Southern Europe.
We sell and supply to our customers standard components for electric motors in frame size IEC 56 up to IEC 400, but also components made in accordance to our customer´s requirements.
Accessory parts are stator empty casings, endshields, flanges and terminal boxes of aluminium or cast-iron. Further ventilation fans, radialblowers, stator- and rotorpacks and accessories for the motor manufacturing.
Further products are forced ventilation units for permanent cooling of electric motors,  incremental Encoder as were  flameproof motors from Cemp, FPM (F&G), Elprom and RAEL.
The aim of our company´s policy is to meet the steadily increasing demands of technology and quality.

CEMB Hofmann History
In 1946 Luigi Buzzi designed the first system for balancing steam turbines. The company grew quickly and established itself as a specialist in vibration technology and as a manufacturer of equipment for balancing rotating parts, like electric motors, turbines, fans, flywheels, brakediscs, crankshafts and driveshafts.
The first CEMB wheel balancer was developed in 1952 when the importance and concept of ‘wheel balancing’ was introduced into the market. Today, CEMB is a market leader and run by Ing. Luigi Buzzi’s son, Carlo, President and technical director, as well as holder of many international patents.
Similarly, Hofmann KG started production of balancing machines in 1934. The company relocated to Pfungstadt in 1968, before changing name to Hofmann Maschinenbau in 1993, then Hofmann Maschinen – und Anlagenbau in 1996. They became the market leaders in the manufacture of dedicated wheel and tyre assembly lines, tyre grading lines and production balancing machine solutions.
In 1997, Hofmann Maschinen – und Anlagenbau GmbH was acquired by Carlo Buzzi and now operate as a partner with CEMB, all integrated into a single technical and construction philosophy.
Together, they are at the centre of the balancing market, leading the way in the supply of innovative products at competitive prices.
