AMCON INC. wurde im Jahre 1974 als Environmental Facility Center in Meguro, Tokio gegründet. Das Center hat Wartungsleistungen für Klärgruben, kommunale Abwasserkläranlagen und andere ähnliche Behandlungsbetriebe angeboten.
Durch unsere Dienstleistungen haben wir Know-How über die Maschinenreparatur und Abwasserbehandlung erlangt. Fünf Jahre nach der Gründung haben wir einen Geschäftszweig für messtechnische Zertifizierung gestartet, den wir seither ausgegliedert haben.
Drei Jahre später haben wir einen Bandeindicker für die Schlammbehandlung in Abwasserbehandlungswerken entwickelt und eingeführt. Wir haben auch eine Dienstleistung für 24-Stunden-Fernüberwachung von Wasser- und Kanalisationssysteme von Privathäusern und Gewerbebauten gestartet.
Im Jahre 1987 hat die Firma ihren Namen auf AMCON INC. geändert. Seitdem bestreben wir uns in der Forschung und Entwicklung von Schlammbehandlungssystemen, wobei wir uns als Maschinenhersteller etablieren wollen.
Im Jahre 1991 haben wir die VOLUTE™ Entwässerungspresse, ein System mit einer innovativen Struktur entwickelt. Dieses Produkt brachte eine neue Perspektive in der Schlammbehandlungsindustrie.
