CTI has been designing and
manufacturing rugged NEMA 4 (IP 66) sealing Human Machine Interface (HMI) and
Motion Control devices for over 25 years. These watertight HMI devices include
Keyboards, Trackballs, Joysticks, and Intelligent Switches in offerings for
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Systems Integrators, and Commercial
End Users. Custom product offerings are available in different stages of
manufacture such as OEM, Panel Mount, or Plug-n-Play. CTI follows Medical,
Military, and Commercial (ISO-9000) Quality standards and is certified under
MIL-I-45208 standard. CTI's Commercial and Government Entity "CAGE"
Code is 0K9x9. For the European Economic Community, CTI does have CE
certification and is compliant with the RoHS and REACH directives.
OEM's design CTI's offerings into many
types of applications including operator stations, kiosks, control panels,
mobile and handheld devices. The fields of applications include manufacturing
machinery, robotics, medical devices, lithography, semiconductor, military,
aerospace, marine, off-road vehicles, transportation, etc. Systems Integrators
typically add CTIs offerings, as a component, into various control mechanisms
which go into large manufacturing facilities where dust, dirt, grease, harsh
oils, food, paper pulp, and other types of debris accumulate and cover the
equipment. Systems Integrators also add CTI's components into operator
interfaces in areas that experience extreme temperatures ranges (-40C to +85C),
or very high humidity (100% non-condensing), or outside weather conditions
including heavy rain and exposure to the elements. Commercial End Users in
vertical markets such as Food Manufacturing, Military, Homeland Security,
Medical, Marine, Aerospace, Transportation, Industrial Automation, etc., use
CTI products because of the high reliability, durability, and long term
availability.
