TADANO Ltd., which was founded in 1948 and has its headquarters in Takamatsu, Japan, is an internationally positioned group of companies, which has specialised in the development and production of hydraulic mobile cranes and hoisting equipment. The main production activities take place at five sites. Three of these sites are in Japan, one is in America and one has been in Germany since 1990 through us, TADANO FAUN GmbH.
As TADANO FAUN GmbH, we represent the centre of excellence for the TADANO Group in terms of the development and production of the TADANO All-Terrain cranes. All TADANO All-Terrain cranes are developed and produced in our factory in Lauf an der Pegnitz near Nuremberg and then distributed throughout the world via our global distribution and service network. As well as All-Terrain cranes, we also develop and construct Truck-Mounted cranes at our site. We undertake the organisation of distribution and service in Europe and for other selected markets within the TADANO Group for our Rough-Terrain cranes, which are produced exclusively by our holding company in Japan.
When TADANO Ltd. took over FAUN GmbH in 1990, the high Japanese standard of quality and German art of engineering created a unique symbiosis. Tried-and-tested Japanese methods to increase quality are being transferred to the construction of All-Terrain cranes and Truck-Mounted cranes, consistently implemented and further developed by us, the newly set-up TADANO FAUN GmbH. In this way, we are able to offer our customers mobile cranes with above-average reliability, thus satisfying their high quality requirements. Through continual investments in the development of production sites, we have sustainably improved our product and service quality and developed our product range step by step.
The turnover of the worldwide TADANO Group was about 1 billion Euro in the 2012/2013 financial year. Worldwide, the TADANO Group employs 3,200 employees, of which 700 are based at the German site in Lauf an der Pegnitz. With over 86 international sales and service stations and 20 branches, the TADANO Group is one of the major manufacturers in the field of mobile crane and hoisting technology. In total, TADANO has produced and successfully delivered hoisting equipment for more than half a million hoisting vehicles in the last few decades of its company’s history.

Jingjiang Hoisting Equipment Factory (Jiangsu Power Hoisting Machinery Co., Ltd.) was founded in 1993, located in Jiangsu Province, China. It is a customized production factory (company) of non-standard crane with annual sales of US $30 million, providing services for customers from more than 30 countries.
Our core business is to provide design and solutions for customers in different industries, mainly based on hydraulic power and intelligent control system, which can be applied to gantry crane and bridge crane.
Many of our solutions have been successfully applied to heavy lifting, offshore industry and intelligent agriculture projects, and our standard products: cantilever crane, bridge crane and gantry crane are also used in other industrial markets.
