DICTATOR is an internationally active, family-owned company with headquarters in Neusäß near Augsburg. Since its foundation in 1932, DICTATOR has continuously expanded its product range and today manufactures high-quality, reliable products for applications in lift equipment, door closing solutions, door interlock systems, door and gate operators and fire door operators, fire door control solutions, hydraulic dampers and gas springs.

At DICTATOR, customer's needs take center stage. Highest priority is given to individual counseling and the development of solutions- from the exact design of the suitable gas spring with installation suggestion to complex special solutions with door and gate operators. The products are manufactured - many times custom-made for the customer - in our own production facilities in Germany as well as in Europe and meet the highest quality standards, thus achieving individual, custom and sustainable results.

In a highly specialised market totalling less than a dozen manufacturers worldwide, Protex supplies the World's largest standard range of overcentre fasteners, toggle latches and draw latches which the Company has built up steadily since its formation in 1954.
The range includes: quick-action, steel fastening devices (overcentre, toggle fasteners operated by lever), for draw latches, turn and panel latches, handles and case fittings.These diverse products fulfill applications in over 50 industries (and as many export countries) demanding safety, security, ease of use, efficient plant maintenance and cleaning, high productivity, time savings and avoidance of manual strain. Some are unique, protected by patent and/or sold under registered trade names.
Typical Protex customers and specifiers range from design, development, project and test engineers to plant, works and process engineers, defence and civil service procurement, and industrial buyers - spread over many types of industries.
More than 700 quick-action variants are produced in both stainless and mild steel for various industry sectors. These are shown below. Protex supplies direct to OEMs and individuals throughout the world.
Protex also supplies a range or complimentary products from other world class manufacturers including a large range of mild steel zinc plated and stainless steel toggle clamps, hoseclips, hose clamp accessories, butt hinges, continuous hinges, compression clamps, cam latches, push to close latches, pull to open latches and other hardware.

Zuverlässige Verpackung für fehlerfreie Ware
Eine aufwendige Verpackung verhindert Transportschäden und gewährleistet Ihnen glänzende Oberflächen, zuverlässig frei von Kratzern. Alle Edelstahlrohre und Profile überziehen wir vor Auslieferung mit einer schützenden Schlauchfolie. Zusätzlich versehen wir die kompletten Rohre mit einer 10 Millimeter starken Luftpolsterfolie und die Rohrenden mit Kartonage.
