A.P.G. Aluminium-Produktionsgesellschaft mbH is a company based in Hamburg that specializes in the production of aluminum products.

Die Aluminium Norf GmbH, kurz "Alunorf", ist das größte Aluminiumschmelz- und Walzwerk der Welt. Wir sind führend in der Herstellung von warm- und kaltgewalzten Aluminiumbändern.
Jährlich verlassen rund 1,5 Millionen Tonnen gewalztes Aluminium unser Werk. Unsere Kunden stellen damit beispielsweise Dosen, Folien, Offsetdruckplatten und Autoteile her.

An den Produktionsstandorten in Ranshofen, Österreich, und Sept-Îles, Kanada, werden Primäraluminium sowie Guss- und Walzprodukte aus Aluminium in Premiumqualität hergestellt. Die technologischen Kernkompetenzen liegen im Recycling, Gießen, Walzen, Wärmebehandeln
und Oberflächenveredeln.
Zum einen werden in Ranshofen aus Primär- und Sekundäraluminium hochwertige Aluminiumgusslegierungen in Form von Zweiteiler-Masseln, Horizontalstrangguss-Masseln, Sows und Flüssigaluminium hergestellt. Zum anderen produziert das Unternehmen Bänder, Bleche und Platten, die in der Luftfahrt-, Fahrzeug-, Maschinenbau-, Bau-, Verpackungs-, Elektro- und Konsumgüterindustrie in hochwertige Endprodukte weiterverarbeitet werden.
Die Basis dafür ist das umfassende Werkstoffwissen, das auf knapp 80 Jahren Erfahrung mit Aluminium beruht. Dabei beweist AMAG, dass Recycling und die Produktion von Premiumprodukten erfolgreich vereinbar sind. Mit umfassender Kompetenz und modernsten Anlagen werden unterschiedlichste Aluminiumschrotte in hochwertige Guss- und Walzprodukte umgewandelt.
Die AMAG Austria Metall AG hält einen 70 % Anteil an der deutschen Aircraft Philipp Gruppe mit Sitz in Übersee am Chiemsee. Aircraft Philipp hat jahrelange Erfahrung in der Herstellung von einbaufertigen Metallteilen für die Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie. Die Kernkompetenz liegt in der mechanischen Bearbeitung von Aluminium und Titan. Die Produktionsstandorte mit mehr als 200 Mitarbeitern befinden sich in Übersee am Chiemsee und Karlsruhe.

HOESCH Granules produces fine grades of powders out of different non-ferrous metals at their own facilities and extends its know-how to HOESCH Group. This is added evident for the strong appearance of HOESCH Granules in the markets of explosive and abrasive industry.

When it comes to our new material developments, the efficient and resource-saving use of cast aluminum is the top priority. For example, we contribute to reducing the weight of motor vehicles with tailor-made and further developed high-performance materials, thereby supporting the reduction of fuel consumption and emissions.
We are active wherever steel constructions or cast iron can be replaced by light cast aluminum. For individual customer requirements, we offer alloys tailored to the process and the casting.
Stronger, lighter, more sustainable: The requirements for aluminum components are becoming more and more complex. Since the end of 2019, our consulting department has been available to provide advice and support on all application questions to ensure the optimal use of our special alloys. In this way we remain in constant contact with our customers and ensure the best possible result in the processing of our alloys.
