RSG Electronic Components GmbH was initially founded in Offenbach/Main in 1988 as a special distributor for passive electronic components.Soon, the product portfolio was extended by AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies and inverters, and only few years later an own R&D for custom-designed power supply solutions up to approx. 25kW was established.
In December 2013 RSG Electronic Components GmbH became part of the British discoverIE Group (LSE: DSCV) and functions within the group as the international center of excellence for the development and production of power supplies.
Eventually, in August 2020 RSG Electronic Components GmbH was legally merged with its sister company Acal BFi Germany GmbH at their facility in Dietzenbach. From there we serve our customers in all parts of the world.
