The company's precision machines range from proven solutions for craftsmen to innovative, high-performance machines for automatic industrial production processes. Overall, the Schröder Group currently employs more than 270 people.

Die Firmengeschichte von Leiße reicht bis in den Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts zurück. Der Ursprung des Unternehmens liegt in einem handwerklichen Schlosserbetrieb, der 1910 gegründet wurde.
Der Schwerpunkt der Individualfertigung liegt heute im Anlagenbau, der zur Mechanisierung von Produktionsbetrieben dient. Hier sind insbesondere Sägewerke, Brettschichtholz verarbeitende Betriebe und andere holzverarbeitende Betriebe wie namhafte Möbelhersteller zu nennen.
