von Schaewen AG is a medium-sized corporate group that is managed by the third generation of the von Schaewen family. In 2006, von Schaewen undertook the generation transfers. Since that time Alexander von Schaewen and Uwe Metzger have taken over the executive management for the various manufacturing subsidiaries and became von Schaewen AG's Board of Management.
The von Schaewen corporate group is formed of von Schaewen AG and the three manufacturing subsidiaries ameca von Schaewen GmbH, SSK von Schaewen Hückeswagen GmbH and SSK von Schaewen Wetter GmbH.
The company produces and distributes forged and flame cutting products, welded constructions, cuts from flat bars and round steel bars, machined workpieces and trades in steel.
