The AKO type D rubber sleeve knife gate valve is a bi-directional wafer valve for general industrial applications.
Due to the density of its sleeves, which allows for complete tightness in both directions of flow, the type D sleeve knife gate valve is particularly suitable for use with abrasive slurries.
It is predominantly used in the mining and chemical industries, and in waste water engineering and power station technology.
The nominal widths available for the rubber sleeve knife gate valves range from DN050 to DN900 with flange connections complying with EN 1092-2 PN10 or alternatively, ANSI B16.5.
Max. operating pressures of AKO type D Rubber Sleeve Knife Gate Valves:
DN050-DN125: 9 bar / DN150: 6 bar /
DN200-DN250: 5 bar / DN300: 4 bar /
DN350-DN400: 3 bar / DN450-DN600: 2,5 bar / DN750-DN900: 2 bar.
