这种类型的机器相当成功，工作宽度可从50mm增加到400mm。从五十年代起，布鲁尔着重从事表面处理的设备，将“刀片”业务卖给索林根的另一个公司。1954年在欧洲销售第一台冷轧板带修磨机，从那时候起，带卷打磨机和抛光机成为布鲁尔主要产品。
今天，为冷轧工业可提供的设备有带卷修磨机、抛光机、打磨机、刷光机、脱脂机。
