本公司由Wilhelm Eicker先生创建于1928年，主要从事生产出口全球的专用刀具。
1946年创始人的儿子海因茨·艾克尔加入了公司。他做了60年的老板。在他的管理下，国内和欧洲的业务都得到了扩展。
1972年管理范围扩大了。儿子托马斯·艾克尔在完成培训和学习后加入了公司。他主要关心进一步出口的扩大。一个新的公司标志被开发出来--现在世界著名的地球仪，铭文是Eicker-Messer。
近90年来，Eicker这个名字一直代表着专门为肉类行业生产的高质量刀具。因此，我们作为Solingen制造商占据了领先地位。生产在最现代化的机器上进行，只使用精选的特种钢。
今天，该项目包括所有类型的肉刀，剔骨和刻刀，磨刀钢以及广泛的配件。生产地点是索林根/德国，德国餐具行业的中心。
自从2005尼古拉斯·艾克尔第四代一直在公司工作。他的任务是满足不断增长的质量和交货时间方面的要求。

Fordura Germany was created in Radebeul in 1982, by Forrest Brothers (J. Forrest and H. Forrest) with name of Forrest Brothers Manufacturing GmbH in their small family workshop, which actually was a car garage.
We changed our company name to: FORDURA Recycling Tools Germany GmbH. In the year of 1995, the company name changed into Fordura Recycling Tools Germany GmbH, setting the foundation for the Fordura Group. Over the years, Fordura has become one of the world’s leading blades & knives manufacturers in this market, and our blades are widely applied to renewable recycling resources in plastic, tire, rubber, metal, e-waste, MSW, textile, packaging, paper and wood, like shredder blades & knives, granulator blades, wood chipper blades, hydraulic shear knives etc.
Fordura, is a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing of various types of industrial blades and knives for recycling machines, including single and double shaft shredder blades, granulator blades, wood chipper knives, and blades for various machines such as choppers, raspers, graters, hydraulic shears, and balers. Along with blades and knives, Fordura also manufactures screens, rotors, shafts, spacers, and other machine parts as per customer requirements.
The name Fordura, originating from “Forrest” and “Durability”, encapsulates the company’s mission – to make durable industrial blades and to strive for the durability of the company, its clients, and its partners.
