1788 Count of shipowners from Koenigsbrueck founded in Berne Village, the " iron works" with an iron hammer and a melting furnace for smelting of bog iron from the environment.
1990 Foundation of Foundry Engineering GmbH, based in Bern village , with the following production program :

• Entstaubungstechnik
• Steel construction groups

As of 1992, steel structures, tanks and pipeline construction are included in the production program .
Production is delivered on export companies abroad.
